Yüzyılımızın Amerika'da En Çok Yasaklanan Kitapları

Amerikan Kütüphaneler Birliği/Derneği (ALA) her sene en çok yasaklanan ya da yasaklanması talep edilen kitapları içeren bir liste yayınlıyor. Son on yıl içerisinde Amerika'daki kütüphanelere 4600 adet yasaklama talebi gelmiş. Bunların yarısından çoğunu cinsellik ve eşçinsellikle ilgili şikayetler oluşturuyor. Aşağıda yıllara göre en çok sevilen! 10 kitabın listesi var. İlgimi çeken, daha doğrusu şaşırtan aralarında Brave New World, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Of Mice and Men gibi kitapların olması. Hele Harry Potter 2001 ve 2002'de birinciliği kimseye bırakmamış. Bu kitaplara karşı olan bu ilgiyi nedense pek anlayamadım. Ancak görünen o ki muhafazakarlık yaygın bir tutum :P
